A simple verse expounding on a profound and relatable problem! I tell my students (I teach third grade) to keep a writers note book with ideas. We practice jotting down ideas. I started the practice myself, albeit in a google doc. It has served me well for over a year. Now, 3 days into the writing challenge, I realize that I do NOT have 30 ideas in there! Not even 5!
I hope your muse arrives…I wonder what will come tomorrow!
This slice has two of my favorite things: haiku and the metaslice! I do love reading slices about slicing. And yes, there are always a few of these days in the challenge when I wonder where the words have gone and why I can’t think of anything to write about.
